Design, supply and engineering of steam generation pressure parts for an oil refinery, Turkey

A major oil refinery in Turkey required specialist engineering and supply of pressure parts for a gas-fired steam generation system. Aalborg CSP provided engineering assistance and subsequently delivered the design and supply of boiler pressure parts to the required process specifications: 110 bar steam pressure, 145 tonnes per hour capacity, and 530°C operating temperature.

The scope covered pressure part design, material selection for the operating conditions, and supply of equipment. The work required engineering to the specific process and safety requirements of an operating oil refinery environment.
