Replacing fossil boilers with electrified, dispatchable steam for oil and gas utilities

A fossil boiler fleet is no longer just an engineering asset. It is a carbon liability. Rising carbon prices, tightening emissions regulation, and increasing investor scrutiny are making the economics of continued fossil heat generation progressively harder to defend. The engineering challenge is not whether to electrify. It is how to do it without compromising steam availability in a facility that was designed around combustion, not electrification.

Aalborg CSP engineers electrified heat systems that maintain steam supply while eliminating fossil fuel combustion.

Electric heaters charge a thermal storage system when power is available. Steam is dispatched on demand. The fossil boiler is removed, the steam supply is maintained, and the carbon is eliminated in a facility that continues to operate through the transition.
